Fire and Light
Fuse produces small and large scale fire and light spectacle events, immersive installations, processions, parades and site specific fire and light walks.
Our latest production took place at Fyne Court in Somerset. Creatures of the Night, a Fire and Light immersive nature walk and night time journey within the grounds of Fyne Court. A journey of fire and light, soundscapes, sculptures, live music and performances.

Fuse produce fire and light immersive installations, performances, events, processions and parades. Either In a village, town, field, a wood, garden, or stage, on a river, a beach or part of a performance, installation, exhibition or candlelight parade.
Since 1995 Fuse Performance, Artistic director Sally Mann has produced events for towns, villages, festivals and events including the outdoor programme and the candlelight procession, performances and installations for Dunster by Candlelight.
Dunster by Candlelight
Fire and light has been an integral theme for this very special event, held once a year in the medieval village of Dunster. Artist and producer, Sally Mann has produced the outdoor programme for Dunster by Candlelight and candlelit procession since 2013.
The River of Light
An evening promenade event was created and produced for the Somerset Wildlife Trust finale event for the Routes to the River Tone in Taunton. .A participatory promenade lantern walk lead to a spectacle of fire and light, aerial performance arts performance.
The Impermanence of Fire was a co-production with Glastonbury Festival and a promenade performance and parade leading to a fire spectacle performance in the circus and theatre fields.
Aller Bonfires brought fire and light performance and sculpture together with different themed events from the Aller Dragon, The Russian Revolution, Stonehenge, Titanic and the Aller Express.
Fire and light has been an integral part of Fuse Outdoor programmes and events.
The fire and light installations, performances, promenades and parades create and explore new and different ways of producing fire and light immersive events, spectacle and processions.
As a combination of procession, spectacle, extraordinary movement and physical skill, dramatic narrative and audience engagement, this can create an effective and varied performance vocabulary that can extend the usual elements of fire spectacle and promenade, processions and parades.
