Emerge

Discover and explore your creative pathways

Emerge supports young people, young adults, emergent artists/creative practitioners to discover creative pathways into professional practice.

In 2014 Fuse organised an Emerge festival with the University of Winchester. We offered opportunities to outdoor/street artists and the BA Hons Street Arts students  supporting artistic and creative journeys into professional practice.

2020 Fuse worked as part of Create+Place  in Halcon and Priorswood, in Taunton with Somerset Art Works and Somerset West and Taunton Council. Offering opportunities for local young emergent artists to create and make light art works and take part in creating their own  local community light night events.

Fuse offer Emerge commissions or bursaries to emergent artists/practitioners supporting creative journeys into professional practice. We have mentored and trained young adults whom have achieved a first honours degree in performing arts, new business start ups, won awards. We offer continuing support to our past and present team and trainees  We work in both formal and  informal education settings from class rooms, community halls, street to stage, a park, a beach, a cafe, a festival or nature reserve.

We listen to, and develop creative responses to the needs of emergent artists, and creative practitioners  exploring their pathways into professional practice, training, continuing education,  or apprenticeships.

Enabling creative, positive change
