Somerfest was an explosion of entertainments over five sites in and around the centre of Taunton with music, arts and entertainments, shows, street theatre, global dance, music, children’s play spaces, circus bonanza and something for everyone to enjoy. We had festival musicians, international cricket stilt players and fabulous festival shows and musicians.
Audiences discovered the gardens, music stage, festival food and drinks, wild arts and green crafts and enjoyed the lazy days of summer.
There were children and family activities and workshops. Castle Green hosted something for everyone shows, sports, children’s rides, food stalls, arts, crafts, drinks and the glimpse of an extraordinary roaming act or two.
